God is Loving, Devoted & Concerned | Grace Daily Prayers
Materials needed: Bible, Pen & Journal
Praise:
Praising God for who He Is, His Attributes, His Name, His Character.
Read:
Sunday: Psalm 145:17, 13:5-6
The Lord is righteous in all his ways and kind in all his works.
But I have trusted in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation.
6 I will sing to the Lord, because he has dealt bountifully with me.
Monday: John 15:9, 3:16
As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Abide in my love.
“For God so loved the world,[a] that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
Tuesday: 1 John 4:9-10, 4:16
In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. 10 In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.
Wednesday: Psalm 94:18; 1 John 4:7-8
When I thought, “My foot slips,” your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up.
Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
Thursday: Romans 5:6-8, 8:38-39
For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 For one will scarcely die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person one would dare even to die— 8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Friday: Zephaniah 3:17; Numbers 14:18
The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness;
he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing.
‘The Lord is slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, forgiving iniquity and transgression, but he will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, to the third and the fourth generation.’
Prayer Time
CONFESSION:
Confess your sins, your guilts & doubts
Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life —is not from the Father but is from the world. (1 John 2:15-16- memory verse)
THANKSGIVING:
Thank God for answers to Prayer, for things He has done. No prayer requests during this time.
Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man! (Psalm 107:21- memory verse)
