Jesus also said that the way that others will know that we are His disciples is by the way we love others. You can show His love by blessing a family in need in our community. This love can come through a care package, meal, or gift.

 

BRIDGE MINISTRIES

A resource center (in both English and Spanish) for Christians to learn and grow in their faith by providing Bibles, Christian books, Bible studies, preschool story time, podcasts & conferences.

GIFT OF DIGNITY | Casa Hogar

Since 2009, Thad and Anita Maddox have been serving the 80+ children of Casa Hogar Elim orphanage in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. In 2016, they began leading short term missions to serve at Casa Hogar and now God has called them to share even more of their lives with the children.

In our covenant relationship with the United Methodist Women and in collaboration with other community partners, we are responding to the needs of women, children, youth, and families:  to encourage health & wellness, to empower education, to improve community, and to invite discipleship.

REGALOS DE AMOR

Regalos de Amor is an outreach ministry to the people of Mexico sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through:

  1. Bible studies and English classes for adults, youth & children

  2. Community outreach and ministry to families in our neighborhood (Valles de Paraiso)

  3. Building relationships with government and local officials and partnerships with local churches

  4. ‘Gifts of Love’ and ‘Day of the Child’ park outreaches in April and December.

  5. Facilitating VBS and other short-term missions trip opportunities in Nuevo Laredo or nearby towns.

 

G.R.A.C.E. | Governor’s Response Against Child Exploitation

The Office of the Governor and the Department of Family & Protective Services are working together to fight child sex trafficking in Texas. To improve awareness, service capacity, and prevention efforts, the GRACE initiative empowers communities of faith across Texas, complementing the agencies’ shared vision of a statewide Network of Nurture to meet the needs of children and their families.

Beck's, World Indigenous Missions – Mexico

David and Lily Beck, along with their three children, Malachi, Alegria, and Ezra, serve as parachurch missionaries to Mexico. In 2015, they joined World Indigenous Missions, a mission’s agency based out of New Braunfels, Texas. They were trained and equipped in all aspects of the field to entrust they stay on the field and prosper.
