This ministry works closely with Child Protective Services by providing meals to children pending placement under CPS supervision and by providing beds and bedding for children in need and recovering from trauma.

Since 2009, Thad and Anita Maddox have been serving the 80+ children of Casa Hogar Elim orphanage in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. In 2016, they began leading short term missions to serve at Casa Hogar and now God has called them to share even more of their lives with the children.

We are a non-profit community center located in downtown Laredo, Texas. In our covenant relationship with the United Methodist Women and in collaboration with other community partners, we are responding to the needs of women, children, youth, and families: to encourage health & wellness, to empower education, to improve community, and to invite discipleship.

Regalos de Amor is an outreach ministry to the people of Mexico sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through:
Bible studies and English classes for adults, youth & children
Community outreach and ministry to families in our neighborhood (Valles de Paraiso)
Building relationships with government and local officials and partnerships with local churches
‘Gifts of Love’ and ‘Day of the Child’ park outreaches in April and December.
Facilitating VBS and other short-term missions trip opportunities in Nuevo Laredo or nearby towns.

David and Lily Beck, along with their three children, Malachi, Alegria, and Ezra, serve as parachurch missionaries to Mexico. In 2015, they joined World Indigenous Missions, a mission’s agency based out of New Braunfels, Texas. They were trained and equipped in all aspects of the field to entrust they stay on the field and prosper.
