Our God Is King

Sovereign, Ruler, Chief

Praise: 

Praising God for who He Is, His Attributes, His Name, His Character.

Read:

Sunday: Psalm 47:8; 1 Timothy 1:17

God reigns over the nations;
God sits on his holy throne.

To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever.[a] Amen.

Monday: Revelation 17:14; Daniel 4:37

They will make war on the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with him are called and chosen and faithful.”

Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, for all his works are right and his ways are just; and those who walk in pride he is able to humble.

Tuesday: 1 Timothy 6:15b-16

he who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, 16 who alone has immortality, who dwells in unapproachable light, whom no one has ever seen or can see. To him be honor and eternal dominion. Amen.

Wednesday: 2 Chronicles 20:6

and said, “O Lord, God of our fathers, are you not God in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. In your hand are power and might, so that none is able to withstand you.

Thursday: Revelation 19:6

Then I heard what seemed to be the voice of a great multitude, like the roar of many waters and like the sound of mighty peals of thunder, crying out,

“Hallelujah!
For the Lord our God
    the Almighty reigns.

Friday: John 18:36

Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If my kingdom were of this world, my servants would have been fighting, that I might not be delivered over to the Jews. But my kingdom is not from the world.”

Prayer Time

CONFESSION:

Confess your sins, your guilts & doubts

“Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love; according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin!” (Ps 51:1-2- memory verse)

THANKSGIVING:

“We give thanks to you, Lord God Almighty, who is and who was, for you have taken your great power and begun to reign.” (Rev 11:17- memory verse)

Thank God for answers to Prayer, for things He has done. No prayer requests during this time.
