But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet the hope of salvation.
“Say to the daughter of Zion,
‘Behold, your king is coming to you,
humble, and mounted on a donkey,
on a colt,[a] the foal of a beast of burden.’”
Monday: Isaiah 40:11; 1 Peter 2:13
He will tend his flock like a shepherd;
he will gather the lambs in his arms;
he will carry them in his bosom,
and gently lead those that are with young.
Be subject for the Lord's sake to every human institution,[a] whether it be to the emperor[b] as supreme,

Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
A soft answer turns away wrath,
but a harsh word stirs up anger.
Wednesday: 1 Peter 5:8
Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
Thursday: 2 Corinthians 10:1
I, Paul, myself entreat you, by the meekness and gentleness of Christ—I who am humble when face to face with you, but bold toward you when I am away!—
Friday: Philippians 4:5
Let your reasonableness[a] be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand;
Prayer Time
CONFESSION:
Confess your sins, your guilts & doubts
For evils have encompassed me
beyond number;
my iniquities have overtaken me,
and I cannot see;
they are more than the hairs of my head;
my heart fails me. (Psalm 40:12- memory verse)
THANKSGIVING:
Thank God for answers to Prayer, for things He has done. No prayer requests during this time.
But truly God has listened;
he has attended to the voice of my prayer.
20 Blessed be God,
because he has not rejected my prayer
or removed his steadfast love from me! (Psalm 66:19, 20- memory verse)
